Welcome to North Shore

This is my favorite weekend crag, for many more reason than just the climbing, which is fantastic. The video features Tommy Blackwell climbing (in order) Big Hukin’Chicken (Lucas did BigHuck totally static afterwards, which was pretty smooth), Imaginary Friend 5.11, and Psycho Killer 5.10.

The Central Texas Mountaineers, Joel Schopp, Lucas Johnson, Tommy Blackwell…these people have encouraged me from leading my frist 5.9 route to projecting 5.12′s. Thanks to this incredible loving community we all have well maintained accessible routes, and there’s always a rope to jump on. And a stream to swim in afterwards if you’re lucky. This is Austin.
